President
President of FR Risk Management, Erik brings over 16 years of retail experience, both as an owner and supplier. From this experience he's developed a deep working knowledge of the unique challenges and exposures growing companies face. Erik helped create the vision for FR Risk Management and has lead development of the program since it's inception. Erik has owned a retail business for the last 16 years, and spent 6 years as a territory manager for Solvi Brands. Prior to his professional life, Erik played in the NFL for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Erik enjoys spending time with his wife Jenna, and their 4 kids. He also enjoys fixing up cars, hunting, golfing, and surfing.

Safety and Loss Control
Andrew Dix joined Virtus in June of 2022 and currently serves as the Director of Risk Control for Virtus Risk Solutions. He is an advocate for his clients and works to strengthen carrier partnerships for the benefit of his clients.
Andrew brings a diverse knowledge and experience set to risk control by combining best practices and loss control principles from a variety of clients that he works with. His early career centered on national accounts covering general industry and property. Andrew currently works on heavy work comp and property exposures with a variety of client sizes in different industries across the Virtus client book.
Andrew has education and experience in OSHA regulations, NFPA standards, building codes, and state requirements. He frequently consults with clients on options for carrier recommendations and negotiates with carriers for favorable client results.
Andrew began his career in insurance and risk control working by as a Loss Control Consultant with a national broker from 2020 to 2022 before joining the Virtus team. Before insurance, Andrew was a CNC machinist and left manufacturing to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Technology degree in Environmental and Safety Management from Pittsburg State University.
